Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the sky is split, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 noble, recording, 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
