Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble scribes, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
