Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Noble and recording; 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
