Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
