Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble scribes, 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
