Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 noble scribes 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 to burn therein. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
