Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Illustrious scribes 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
