Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 noble scribes, 11 who know what you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
