Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 watching over you 11 Who know what you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
