Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the sky is split, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Generous and recording, 11 who know of all that you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what do you know - of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
