Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Noble and recording; 11 They know what you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 to burn therein. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
