Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble, recording, 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
