Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble, writers 11 who know whatever you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 to burn therein. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
