Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 Illustrious scribes 11 They know all that you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
