Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble, recording, 11 who know what you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
