The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
WOE TO THOSE who give short measure, 1 Who insist on being given full when they take from others, 2 Whilst when they measure or weigh for them, give less. 3 Do such (men) not consider that they will be raised again 4 On a Great Day, 5 A Day whereon mankind shall stand before the Lord of the worlds? 6 Woe to them! Let them know that the records of the sinner's deeds are in Sijin. 7 How will you comprehend what Sijjin is? 8 It is a Book inscribed. 9 Woe, on that day, to those who have rejected God's revelations 10 Those who deny the Day of Justice. 11 And none belieth it save each trespasser, sinner. 12 who, when Our verses are recited to him, says: “Mere tales of olden times!” 13 No indeed! Their own deeds have cast a veil over their hearts. 14 Nay, verily, from [the grace of] their Sustainer shall they on that Day be debarred; 15 then they shall roast in Hell. 16 and they will be told, "This is what you were wont to belie." 17 By no means! Verily the record of the virtuous shall be in 'Illiyun. 18 And what do you know what the Illiyoon are! 19 (There is) a Register (fully) inscribed, 20 Those who are drawn near (to Allah) shall witness it. 21 The virtuous will live in bliss, 22 On thrones, looking (at all things). 23 On their faces you will see the glow of beatitude. 24 as they are given to drink of a wine sealed 25 its seal will be of musk -- for this let the aspirants aspire -- 26 And the admixture of it is a water of Tasnim, 27 A fountain from which drink they who are drawn near (to Allah). 28 Surely they who are guilty used to laugh at those who believe. 29 And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances. 30 and whenever they return to people of their own kind, they return full of jests; 31 And when they saw them, they said: Most surely these are in error; 32 Whereas they have not at all been sent as guardians over them. 33 so today those who believe shall [be able to] laugh at those who denied the truth 34 Reclining on couches, looking on. 35 Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did? 36
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
