The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Woe to those who give less [than due], 1 Who, when they take the measure (of their dues) from men take it fully, 2 Whereas when they give others after measuring or weighing, they give them less! 3 What! Do they not expect that they will be raised? 4 [and called to account] on an awesome Day 5 A Day whereon mankind shall stand before the Lord of the worlds? 6 Indeed! The record of the wicked is in the Sijjin -- 7 and what shall teach thee what is Sijjin? 8 The record is a sealed text. 9 Woe on that Day to those who belied it, 10 those who deny the Day of Judgement. 11 And none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner! 12 When Our communications are recited to him, he says: Stories of those of yore. 13 No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning. 14 No indeed; but upon that day they shall be veiled from their Lord, 15 Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire. 16 They will then be told: "This is what you had denied." 17 Indeed the record of the virtuous is in the highest place, the Illiyin. 18 And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is? 19 The record is a sealed text. 20 To which bear witness those brought nigh. 21 The virtuous will live in bliss, 22 On couches face to face. 23 You will recognize in their faces the brightness of bliss. 24 They will be given pure wine to drink, which is kept preserved, sealed. 25 its seal is musk, for this let the competitors compete; 26 And admixture thereof will be Water of Tasnim: 27 A fountain from which drink they who are drawn near (to Allah). 28 BEHOLD, those who have abandoned themselves to sin are wont to laugh at such as have attained to faith 29 And whenever they passed by them, used to wink one to another (in mockery); 30 And when they returned to their own followers they returned exulting. 31 And when they saw them they said: Lo! these have gone astray. 32 (they said so although) they had not been appointed watchers over them. 33 But today the believers are laughing at the unbelievers; 34 On (high) thrones, looking (at all things). 35 Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do? 36
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
