The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Woe to those who give less [than due], 1 Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full. 2 But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss. 3 Do they not think that they will be called to account?- 4 on a Great Day, 5 a day when mankind shall stand before the Lord of all Being? 6 Nay, but the record of the vile is in Sijjin - 7 And what could make thee conceive what that that mode inescapable will be? 8 A record of misdeeds written. 9 Ah the woe that day for those who deny, 10 those that give the lie to the Day of Recompense. 11 And none gives the lie to it but every exceeder of limits, sinful one 12 who, when Our verses are recited to him, says: “Mere tales of olden times!” 13 Nay! rather, what they used to do has become like rust upon their hearts. 14 No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned. 15 and then they shall enter Hell, 16 Then it shall be said to them, 'This is that you cried lies to.' 17 However, the records of the deeds of the virtuous ones will certainly be in Illiyin. 18 And what will make you know what the highest Iliyin is? 19 (It is) a marked Book, 20 Attested by those who are brought near (unto their Lord). 21 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 22 Reclining on couches, looking on. 23 You will recognize in their faces the brightness of bliss. 24 They are made to quaff of a pure drink that is sealed (to others). 25 pouring forth with a fragrance of musk. To that [wine of paradise,] then, let all such aspire as [are willing to] aspire to things of high account: 26 It (that wine) will be mixed with Tasnim. 27 The spring from which drink the ones close to Allah. 28 Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. 29 And when the believers used to pass by, they used to gesture at each other with their eyes. 30 and whenever they return to people of their own kind, they return full of jests; 31 and whenever they see those [who believe,] they say: "Behold, these [people] have indeed gone astray!" 32 But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers). 33 So today the believers are laughing at the unbelievers, 34 On high thrones, watching. 35 Will not the infidels pay for what they had done? 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
