The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Woe to those who are fraudulent in (weighing and measuring), 1 Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full. 2 But when they measure out to others or weigh out for them, they are deficient. 3 Do not these think that they shall be raised again 4 On a mighty Day. 5 when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Universe? 6 Indeed! The record of the wicked is in the Sijjin -- 7 And what can make you know what is sijjeen? 8 A record of misdeeds written. 9 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 10 Those who deny the Day of Justice. 11 for, none gives the lie to it but such as are wont to transgress against all that is [and are] immersed in sin: 12 When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples." 13 They will never have faith. In fact, their hearts are stained from their deeds. 14 Nay, verily, from [the grace of] their Sustainer shall they on that Day be debarred; 15 Then verily they will be roasted into the Scorch. 16 They will then be told: "This is what you had denied." 17 Nay, but the record of the righteous is in 'Illiyin - 18 And what will make thee know whatsoever the record in Illiyun is? 19 It is a (repository of) distinctly written record 20 witnessed by those who are near (to Allah). 21 Lo! the righteous verily are in delight, 22 On thrones, looking (at all things). 23 You will recognise the freshness of serenity on their faces. 24 They will be given to drink of pure wine, sealed. 25 The last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete. 26 And mixed with water of Tasnim, 27 a spring at which those drawn close to God will drink. 28 Surely they who are guilty used to laugh at those who believe. 29 And when they passed by them, they winked at one another. 30 And whilst returning to their homes, they used to return rejoicing. 31 And when they saw them, they said: Most surely these are in error; 32 Whereas they were not sent over them as watchers. 33 So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers, 34 seated upon their couches, they are looking around. 35 Are not the disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do? 36
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
