The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Woe unto the scrimpers: 1 those who demand a full measure from others 2 But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due. 3 Do they not think they will be raised (to life) again 4 For a tremendous Day - 5 The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)? 6 No indeed, the Book of the immoral is in Sijjeen. 7 Would that you knew what Sijin is!? 8 (There is) a Register (fully) inscribed. 9 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 10 Who give the lie to the day of judgment. 11 And none gives the lie to it but every exceeder of limits, sinful one 12 When Our communications are recited to him, he says: Stories of those of yore. 13 No indeed! The truth is that their hearts have become rusted on account of their evil deeds. 14 On the Day of Judgment, they will certainly be barred from the mercy of their Lord. 15 then they shall roast in Hell. 16 Then it shall be said to them, 'This is that you cried lies to.' 17 Indeed the record of the virtuous is in the highest place, the Illiyin. 18 Would that you knew what Illiyin is! 19 A book inscribed, 20 Attested by those who are brought near (unto their Lord). 21 Verily, Al-Abrar (the pious who fear Allah and avoid evil) will be in delight (Paradise). 22 [resting on couches, they will look up [to God]: 23 You shall see upon their faces the glow of bliss. 24 They will be served the choicest wine, sealed 25 Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss - 26 for it is composed of all that is most exalting 27 A spring whereof drink those nearest to Allah. 28 Indeed the guilty used to laugh at the believers. 29 And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances. 30 And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting; 31 And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost." 32 No one has appointed them to watch over the believers. 33 So today those who believe shall laugh at the unbelievers; 34 On high thrones, watching. 35 Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did? 36
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
