The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ruin is for the defrauders. 1 Who, when they take the measure (of their dues) from men take it fully, 2 but who, when they measure or weigh for others, give less than their due. 3 What! Do they not expect that they will be raised? 4 For a tremendous Day - 5 The day when (all) mankind stand before the Lord of the Worlds? 6 Indeed the ledger of the wicked will be in Sijjin. 7 And what will make you know what the Sijjin is? 8 it is a written record. 9 Woe, on that Day, to those who reject, 10 Those who belie the Day of Requital. 11 And none belieth it save each trespasser, sinner. 12 When you recite Our verses to him, he says, "Stories of earlier men!" 13 Not at all - but rather their earnings have heaped rust upon their hearts. 14 Nay, verily, from [the grace of] their Sustainer shall they on that Day be debarred; 15 then they shall enter the Fire of Hell, 16 Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false! 17 No indeed; the book of the pious is in Illiyun; 18 And what will make you know what 'Illiyyun is? 19 It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed 20 Attested by those who are brought near (unto their Lord). 21 Verily the virtuous shall be in Delight, 22 (reclining) upon couches they will gaze, 23 Thou wilt recognize in their faces the brightness of delight. 24 They are made to quaff of a pure drink that is sealed (to others). 25 With a sealing of musk, which those who aspire for the best should desire, -- 26 And mixed with water of Tasnim, 27 A spring whence those brought near (to Allah) drink. 28 The sinners laughed at the believers 29 And wink one to another when they passed them; 30 and when they went back to their families, they went back jesting, 31 And upon seeing the Muslims, they used to say, "Indeed they have gone astray." 32 And withal, they have no call to watch over [the beliefs of] others... 33 But on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers: 34 as they (recline) upon their couches and gaze (around them). 35 Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did? 36
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
Click or tap on "random" to go to any random page. Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between. This will make your readings cluster more on Juz Amma's short surahs at the end of the Quran. You can also do the same in reverse order using the left triangle or arrowhead, which will cluster your readings more at the beginning of the Holy Quran.
