Al-Inshiqaaq
The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the sky is rent asunder 1 And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; 2 and when the earth is stretched out 3 and casts out all that is within it and becomes empty; 4 And hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord,- and it must needs (do so);- (then will come Home the full reality). 5 O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it. 6 Whoever is given the Record in his right hand 7 shall be called to an easy accounting, 8 And he will turn to his people, rejoicing! 9 But whosoever is given his Record behind his back, 10 He shall call for perdition, 11 And enter into burning fire. 12 Verily, he was among his people in joy! 13 Verily, he thought that he would never come back (to Us)! 14 Yes indeed; his Lord had sight of him. 15 Nay; I swear by the twilight; 16 And by the night and all that it enshroudeth, 17 And [by] the moon when it becomes full 18 Surely ye shall ride layer upon layer. 19 What aileth them, then, that they believe not 20 And when the Quran is recited to them they do not make obeisance? ۩ 21 Nay, but those who disbelieve will deny; 22 And Allah knows best what they hide, 23 So give them good tidings of a painful chastisement, 24 unless it be such [of them] as [repent, and] attain to faith, and do good works; for theirs shall be a reward unending! 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
