The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the sky bursts open, 1 obeying its Sustainer, as in truth it must; 2 when earth is stretched out 3 and casts out what is within it and is emptied, 4 obeying its Sustainer, as in truth it must: 5 Human being, you strive hard to get closer to your Lord, and so you will certainly receive the recompense (of your deeds). 6 The reckoning of those whose Book of records will be given into their right hands 7 shall have an easy reckoning 8 and shall return to his people joyfully. 9 But he who is given his ledger from behind his back 10 He surely will invoke destruction 11 And shall enter a blazing Fire, and made to taste its burning. 12 Verily, he was among his people in joy! 13 for he never thought that he would have to return [to God]. 14 This is a fact. Their Lord is Well-Aware of (all that they do). 15 Oh, I swear by the afterglow of sunset, 16 and the night, and what it [step by step] unfolds, 17 And by the moon when it is at the full, 18 that you shall surely ride from stage to stage. 19 What aileth them then, that they believe not, 20 And when the Qur’an is recited to them, they do not fall prostrate? (Command of Prostration # 13) ۩ 21 Indeed, those who are bent on denying the truth reject it -- 22 And Allah is most knowing of what they keep within themselves. 23 So announce to them a Penalty Grievous, 24 But those who believe and work righteous works, theirs shall be a hire unending. 25
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
