The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is rent asunder 1 and gives ear to its Lord, and is fitly disposed; 2 And when the earth is stretched, 3 and casts forth whatever is in it, and becomes utterly void, 4 and gives ear to its Lord, and is fitly disposed! 5 Thou, verily, O man, art working toward thy Lord a work which thou wilt meet (in His presence). 6 Then as for him who is given his book in his right hand, 7 Soon an easy account will be taken from him. 8 And return to his people in happiness. 9 And whoever is given his record of deeds behind his back 10 He shall call for perdition, 11 and he shall roast at a Blaze. 12 He lived rejoicing among his people, 13 for he never thought that he would have to return [to God]. 14 Yes indeed, his Lord was ever watching him. 15 I swear by the twilight; 16 And [by] the night and what it envelops 17 and by the moon, when it reaches its fullness: 18 You will surely go up level by level. 19 What is the matter with them? Why do they not believe? 20 And when the Qur'an is read to them, they fall not prostrate, ۩ 21 Nay, but those who disbelieve will deny; 22 But Allah has full knowledge of what they secrete (in their breasts) 23 So give them tidings of a painful punishment, 24 Except those who believed and did good deeds for them is a reward that will never end. 25
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
