Al-Inshiqaaq
The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder 1 And attentive to her Lord in fear, 2 when the earth flattens out, 3 and casts forth whatever is in it, and becomes utterly void, 4 and gives ear to its Lord, and is fitly disposed! 5 O man! Verily, you are returning towards your Lord with your deeds and actions (good or bad), a sure returning, so you will meet (i.e. the results of your deeds which you did). 6 Then as to him who shall be given his book in his right hand 7 Soon will his account be taken by an easy reckoning, 8 and he will return to his family joyfully. 9 But he who is given his ledger from behind his back 10 Will pray for death, 11 And enter into burning fire. 12 He used to be happy with his own people; 13 and had thought that they would never be brought back to life again. 14 Yes indeed, his Lord was ever watching him. 15 BUT NAY! I call to witness the sunset's [fleeting] afterglow, 16 and by the night and what it enfolds, 17 by the moon, in its fullness 18 [That] you will surely experience state after state. 19 What aileth them then, that they believe not, 20 And when the Quran is recited to them, they fall not prostrate, ۩ 21 In fact the disbelievers keep denying. 22 and Allah knows very well what they gather. 23 So give them good tidings of a painful chastisement, 24 except to those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for theirs is an unfailing recompense. 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
