The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And attentive to her Lord in fear, 2 And when the earth is flattened out, 3 And shall cast forth that which is therein, and shall become empty. 4 And it listens to the command of its Lord and that befits it. 5 O man, indeed you have to surely run towards your Lord, and to meet him. 6 Then he who is given his Record in his right hand, 7 shall have an easy reckoning 8 and will return rejoicing to his family. 9 And whoever is given his record of deeds behind his back 10 He will cry out for destruction 11 And be thrown to scorching fire. 12 Verily he was among his people joyous. 13 Never thinking he will return. 14 Yea indeed! His Sustainer did see all that was in him! 15 So indeed I call to witness the evening twilight, 16 And [by] the night and what it envelops 17 And by oath of the moon when it is full. 18 That you will climb from stage to stage. 19 What is the matter with them, that they believe not? 20 And when the Qur'an is recited to them do not bow in adoration? ۩ 21 Nay! those who disbelieve give the lie to the truth. 22 and God knows very well what they are secreting. 23 So give them good tidings of a painful chastisement, 24 except to those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for theirs is an unfailing recompense. 25
Almighty Allah's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
