Al-Inshiqaaq
The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] 2 when earth is stretched out 3 and casts forth what is in it, and voids itself, 4 And hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord,- and it must needs (do so);- (then will come Home the full reality). 5 O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it. 6 Whoever is given the Record in his right hand 7 Will have an easy reckoning, 8 And will return unto his folk in joy. 9 But as for he who is given his record behind his back, 10 He surely will invoke destruction 11 and he will enter the blazing flame. 12 Surely he was (erstwhile) joyful among his followers. 13 Verily, he thought that he would never come back (to Us)! 14 Nay, nay! for his Lord was (ever) watchful of him! 15 So I swear by the twilight glow 16 And by oath of the night and all that gathers in it. 17 by the moon, in its fullness 18 that you will certainly pass through one stage after another. 19 So what is [the matter] with them [that] they do not believe, 20 And when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah]? ۩ 21 Nay, (on the contrary), those who disbelieve, belie (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and whatever he brought, i.e. this Quran and Islamic Monotheism, etc.). 22 Allah knows best what they are accumulating (in their Record). 23 Therefore give to them glad tidings of a painful punishment, 24 Except those who believe and do good; for them is a reward that shall never be cut off. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
