The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder 1 and hearkens to the command of its Lord, doing what it should; 2 when the earth flattens out, 3 and casts out all that is within it and becomes empty; 4 And it listens to the command of its Lord and that befits it. 5 O man! surely you must strive (to attain) to your Lord, a hard striving until you meet Him. 6 Whoever is given the Record in his right hand 7 shall have an easy reckoning 8 And he shall go back to his people joyful. 9 But as for him whose record shall be given to him behind his back; 10 shall cry for “perdition,” 11 and roast at the Blaze. 12 He verily lived joyous with his folk, 13 Never thinking he will return. 14 But no; (how would he not revert)? His Lord was ever watching him. 15 Oh, I swear by the afterglow of sunset, 16 and the night and what it envelops 17 And by oath of the moon when it is full. 18 you will progress from stage to stage. 19 Then what ails them, that they believe not, 20 And when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah]? ۩ 21 Nay, but those who disbelieve will deny; 22 Allah knows best what they are accumulating (in their Record). 23 So announce to them a painful punishment~ 24 Save those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them is a reward that will never come to an end (i.e. Paradise). 25
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
