The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the heaven bursts asunder, 1 And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; 2 when the earth is stretched out 3 And has cast out all that was in it and became empty, 4 in obedience to the commands of its Lord which are incumbent on it, (the human being will receive due recompense for his deeds). 5 O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it. 6 Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand, 7 shall be called to an easy accounting, 8 and he shall return to his people, joyfully, 9 But he who is given his Book from behind his back 10 they will say, "Woe to us!" 11 And will go into the blazing fire. 12 Behold, [in his earthly life] he lived joyfully among people of his own kind 13 Surely he thought that he would never return. 14 Surely yes, why not? Indeed his Lord is seeing him. 15 I swear by the afterglow of sunset, 16 And by the night and all that it enshroudeth, 17 and by the moon, when it reaches its fullness: 18 [even thus, O men,] are you bound to move; onward from stage to stage. 19 What is the matter with them, that they do not believe 20 And when the Qur'an is read to them, they fall not prostrate, ۩ 21 In fact, they reject the Quran, 22 But Allah has full knowledge of what they secrete (in their breasts) 23 So give them tidings of a painful punishment, 24 Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted. 25
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
