The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 destroyed were the people of the trench, 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
