The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 And by the Day promised, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 They sat by it 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 the armies of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
Almighty God's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
