The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
