The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 by the Promised Day, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Nay, but the unbelievers still cry lies, 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
