The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 They sat by it 6 And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them). 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
