The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 by the Promised Day, 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He only is the Oft Forgiving, the Beloved of His bondmen. 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
