The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the heavens with constellations, 1 by the Promised Day, 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He only is the Oft Forgiving, the Beloved of His bondmen. 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 upon an imperishable tablet [inscribed]. 22
