The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And by the Day promised, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 As they sat around it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 On a guarded tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
