The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 by the Promised Day, 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
