The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 And He only is the Oft Forgiving, the Beloved of His bondmen. 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 the armies of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
