The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 by the promised day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 When they sat by it, 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
