The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 by the promised day, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 when they were seated around it 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
