The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 And by the Day promised, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 As they sat around it 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
