The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 when they were seated around it 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
