The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 They sat by it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 (Preserved) on the guarded tablet. 22
