The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 And the promised day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 and the Most Effective in His decision. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
