The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 by the Promised Day, 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 by a burning fire 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). 13 And He alone is truly-forgiving, all-embracing in His love, 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
