The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 And by the Day promised, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 They sat by it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
