The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 By the Promised Day! 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 They sat by it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
