The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 Lo! [With glee do] they contemplate that [fire,] 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
