The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
